How To Keep Christ in Christmas (it's not what you think!)

My dear Quaker friend Edith Shepherd posted this quote on Facebook Wednesday. With all of the talk about a "war on Christmas" and keeping Jesus the "reason for the season" I could think of nothing that felt more appropriate to share today. While we complain about Santa taking over and too many people saying Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas, the world wonders what all the fuss is about. People are starving for love, and we are supposed to be the ones who show them that love. His name is Jesus! If we want Christmas to be about Jesus, then we need to be about doing the WORK of Jesus. Hear these words...then DO them!!!

“Want to keep Christ in Christmas? Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, forgive the guilty, welcome the unwanted, care for the ill, love your enemies, and do unto others as you would have done unto you.”
