Christmas arrives in 4 days and many of us are in full panic mode. We have shopping to do, food to prepare,parties to attend and relatives to see. It is easy to get so wrapped up in Christmas that we miss it. Want to more fully understand what we are actually saying when we say Jesus is the reason for the season? For me, it is one of the most significant Christmas songs written in the past 20 years, because it reminds us of who the Babe of Bethlehem grows up to be- and what He would do for us. May God open all of our eyes so that we may see the gift of the Christ child for what it really was...the gift of salvation! Our deliverer is coming...

I don't celebrate Christmas so I just sit back and watch people rushing, pushing and shoving like mad. Then I step in and get the last minute reduced price of quality food/wine bargains that everyone else got at full price, ha ha ha.
