One Way To a Better Weekend

Would you like to make this a better weekend?  Do you want to feel joy and hope instead of sorrow and depression?  Here's one way- do this Act of Worship several times throughout your Friday. Shout for joy to the LORD!  Sing praises to Him!  But since not everyone can or wants to sing, try this.  Shout out to God by reading aloud Psalm 100.  Read it with gusto and without worrying about who might hear you.  Read it with your heart WIDE OPEN!  Believe that the LORD is good and that His love truly does endure forever.  Praise God!

A psalm. For giving thanks.

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. 
Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and not we ourselves ;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
