It's a desolate sight when you go there now, but all the wonderful warm memories come to mind and make it ok. It is truly missed and I'm glad it's not just me! I actually only visited the Pavilion once, in the summer of '93, when I was six years old. Obviously I don't remember it vividly but it has always stuck out in my memory for some reason. It was the first time I ever rode an "upside-down" roller coaster, the "Corkscrew" I believe. It was actually a large family vacation, and a special one at that. So I will always remember the Pavilion. It just really is devastating to know I will never see it again, but oh well.
